  • Day - 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, we start our journey through Nepal’s gorgeous countryside. We reach Arughat, a sizeable village at the foot of Manaslu. The village lies on both side of the Buri Gandaki River, connected by a suspension bridge. The village is a gateway to many mountain trails higher up, including the Tsum Valley. Spend the rest of the day and evening wandering the streets of the Arughat, and even taking a swim if you’d like. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 4 : Trek from Arughat to Lapu Besi (750m).
  • In the morning, we continue the journey up the Buri Gandaki river. On the way, we pass rural villages and their terraced farm fields. Stop for a tea or meal in the of the small villages of Mordar, Simre, or Arket before climbing to Kyoropani. Then, descend to Soti Khola, the bigger village of the bunch, before continuing the trail to Lapu Besi. Enjoy the terrific scenery throughout the trek. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 5 : Trek from Lapu Besi to Dovan (890m), 7-8 hours.
  • After breakfast, we follow the trail into the steep valley. On the way, we trek through dense forests and villages nestled within. The trail then widens into the valley, where we follow the path of the river, trekking along its sandy banks. On our sides exist massive, steep cliff walls. We begin to feel that we are in the high alpine landscape. A final ascent leads us to Dovan, where there are several teashops and guest houses to stay. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 6 : Trek from Dovan to Nyak Phedi (2340m).
  • After breakfast, begin today’s adventure, which is a strenuous, but exciting ascent. Pass through several charming villages. The trail weaves from forest to riverbank as it makes several ascents and descents. Explore the lovely village of Nyak Phedi upon arrival. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 7 : Trek from Nyak Phedi to Namrung (2700m).
  • Leave Nyak Phedi after breakfast and make a small ascent and then back down to the riverbank. Pass Gata Khola and Shar Khola. Further, the pleasant path leads through bamboo forests to Deng, a small, charming village. Keep going toward the stone-built village of Bhi (still trekking alongside the Buri Gandaki River. The trail descends to Ghap (2110m). Have a rest and/or meal here before the steep ascent for 2-3 hours to Namrung. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 8 : Trek from Namrung to Samagaon (3530m), 6-7 hours.
  • Namrung has an amazing viewpoint of Siring, Ganesh Himal, and Hiunchuli. Have breakfast while enjoy the mountains in the background. The trail at the beginning climbs steadily, passing through forests to reach Lihi. Here, the path drops and crosses the valley of Simang Himal with Ganesh Himal within eyeshot. Admire the sweet views of Manaslu from Lho, a pleasant village with a Gompa (Monastery). In Shyala, we are enveloped by high mountains with Manaslu and large glaciers straight ahead. Today’s journey ends in Samagaon. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 9 : Rest and acclimatization day in Samagaon.
  • It is necessary to take another day in Samagaon because of the high altitude. There are lots of day hikes in the area that we can choose from. Many people take the hike to Pungyen (4070m) to check out the gompa. Otherwise, we can see Birendra Tal (Lake) (3450m), or the ambitious climb to Manaslu Base Camp (4900m). Regardless, at the end of the day, we head back to Samagaon to rest. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 10 : Trek from Samagaon to Samdo (3860m), 2-3 hours.
  • It’s a short, day of trekking through some spectacular scenery as we move up to Samdo. The valley opens before we reach the white gateway marking the entrance to Samdo. We drop our packs off at the guesthouse and climb up a little bit more for breathtaking views of Manaslu peak. Enjoy the grand sight! Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 11 : Trek from Samdo to Larke Rest Home/Dharamsala (4480), 2-3 hours.
  • After breakfast, we begin our short day of descending even further into the mountains. Leaving the guest house, we cross the wooden bridge over Buri Gandaki and begin walking higher. After crossing two streams and seeing the expansive Syacha Glacier, we walk around the valley of the Salka Khola and climb up to Dharamsala, also known as Larke Phedi. Keep your eyes out for the blue sheep – this leg of the trail offers the best chance to see it! Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 12 : Trek from Dharamsala to Bimthang (3720m) via Larkya Pass (5100m), 7-9 hours.
  • Crossing the high pass calls for an early morning wake up. Before the sun rises, we rise from our slumber and climb for 3-5 hours to reach the Larkya Pass. The best chance for weather is in the early morning, so it’s our goal to reach there as early as possible. Along the moraine lies four frozen lakes. After passing them, we make a final push to the summit. As the top, enjoy jaw-dropping views of Himlung Himal (7126m), Annapurna II (7937m), Kang Guru (6981m), and more pristine peaks. From here, descend on the sketchy scree all the way to Bimthang (3720m). Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 13 : Trek from Bimthang to Tilje (2300m), 7-8 hours.
  • Today marks the first full day of descending, and it’s a long one. The views throughout make it all worth it, as we pass a diverse array of landscapes. Pass Soti Khola (2700m), and look up at the towering Phungi Peak (6258m) and carry on along the riverbank to Gho. From Gho, the vegetation gets lusher and more colourful. Trek along the edge of the Dudh Khola to reach Tilje, the first permanent settlement since Samdo. Overnight in guest house.

  • Day - 14 : Trek from Tilje to Jagat (1410m), 6 hours.
  • The final day of our Manaslu Circuit Trek takes us to Jagat, an entry point for the Manaslu treks. The trail goes up and down but ultimately descends almost 1000 meters. We arrive in Jagat with plenty of time to explore the amazing village. Celebrate the end of a successful trek in the evening! It’s been an amazing journey and we are happy to experience it with you.

  • Day - 15 : Drive to Besi Sahar, then to Kathmandu.
  • A great end to the trek is a scenic drive back to the luxuries of the hotel in Kathmandu. The drive takes about 5-6 hours. Savor the last of the mountain views. Arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day wandering around Thamel, sightseeing, or buying some souvenirs. Overnight in hotel.

  • Day - 16 : Departure from Nepal.
  • We take you to Tribhuvan Airport so you can go to your next destination. Thank you for choosing Crystal Himalaya Treks and Expedition as your guide! Hope to see you soon.
